Sweekar Kiya Maine is a family romantic drama. The movie follows the story of two young people named Kishankumar (Vinod Mehra) and Gopika (Shabana Azmi), who fall in love with each other and decide to get married. Things go well for a while; however, Gopika learns that Kishankumar is a widower and even has a daughter from his previous marriage, about which he maintained silence. Gopika is devastated with the new information and decides to call off her wedding. However, she returns and brings a young boy with her, and asks Kishan to accept her and her son. Will Kishan accept the two, and start his new life?
