Aaishvary Thackeray is the son of film producer Smita Thackeray and the late Jaidev Thackeray. He is the grandson of Shiv Sena founder Shri Bal Thackeray and nephew of Uddhav Thackeray. He started his Bollywood career by assisting director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Bajirao Mastani (2015). He marked his acting debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi. The film, backed by Amazon MGM, was released on September 19, 2025.
