Arun Sarnaik was an Indian actor and singer, who has predominantly worked in Marathi films. He was the son of famous singer Pt. Shankara Rao Sarnaik. As an actor, he started his career with the 1981 Marathi film Aai. It was followed by a series of his Marathi films. In 1982, he appeared in the Bollywood film Situm, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Smita Patil as the main leads.
