Cuckoo Moray was an Anglo-Indian actress and dancer, who was active in Indian cinema in the 1940s and 1950s. She was known as the queen of dancing in Indian cinema and her talents made cabaret dancing popular in Bollywood films. She started her career with the 1946 film Arab Ka Sitara. She mostly appeared in small dancing roles in movies like Anokhi Ada (1948), Patanga (1949), Pardes (1950), Awaara (1951), Mr. & Mrs. ’55 (1955), etc.
