Mahendra Bohra was a well-known producer and writer who produced a handful of films in his chequered career. He started his career as a producer by producing the 1975 Tamil film ‘Saraswati Lakshmi Parvati’. He later switched to Hindi films and produced like ‘Tejaa’, ‘Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna’, ‘Takkar’, etc. His son is actor Karanveer Bohra. He breathed his last in Mumbai on 4 March 2026 at the age of 79.
