Mangesh Kulkarni was an Indian screenwriter and lyricist who predominantly worked in Marathi as well as Hindi language films. He made his debut as a screenwriter with the Marathi film 'Lapandav' in 1993 and soon transitioned to mainstream Bollywood films. His notable works as screenwriter include 'Yes Boss' (1997), 'Ghulam-E-Musthafa' (1997), 'Dil Kya Kare' (1999), 'Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya' (2000), 'Awara Paagal Deewana' (2002), and the unreleased 'Horn `OK` Pleassss' (2009). He also penned the lyrics for the Marathi film, 'Hee Porgi Kunachi', and Hindi film 'Prahaar' (1991). He passed away in 2024 at the age of 76.
