Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is a director, screenwriter, and actor who primarily works in Telugu and Hindi movie languages. He is the son of veteran Telugu and Bollywood legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao and grandson of filmmaker K. S. Prakash Rao. He made his acting debut in director John Mahendran’s Telugu romantic drama, Neetho (2002) and later featured in Mahesh Dattani’s Morning Raga (2004). He made his directorial debut with the Telugu children’s film Bommalata (2004) for which he received the ‘Best Film in Telugu’ at the 53rd National Film Awards. He made his Bollywood directorial debut with the black comedy, Judgementall Hai Kya (2019) starring Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut.
