R.B. Choudary was a veteran film producer who produced more than 100 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Born in Hyderabad in 1945, producer R. B. Choudary founded the Super Good Films banner and made his debut with the Malayalam film 'Aadhya Paapam' in 1988. He went on to produce several notable films, including 'Cheran Pandian', 'Nattamai', 'Poove Unakkaga', 'Suryavamsam', 'Thullatha Manamum Thullum', 'Aanandham', 'Jilla', and 'Godfather'. His final production was 'Maareesan' (2025), starring Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil. In Hindi cinema, he independently produced 'Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai' (2002), starring Govinda and Rani Mukerji. He died in a road accident on 5 May 2026.
