Born as Abbas Khan, Sanjay Khan is an Indian actor, producer and director. He made his screen debut in Bollywood with Chetan Anand’s 1964 film Haqeeqat, which was followed by the black-and-white classic film Dosti (1964), which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. He has also acted in movies like Dus Lakh (1966), Ek Phool Do Mali (1969), Intaquam (1969), Mela (1971), Nagin (1976). He later shifted his focus to direction and production of films and TV Series, directed and produced films like Chandi Sona (1977), Abdullah (1980) and Kala Dhanda Goray Log (1986). In 1966, he married Zarine Khan, with whom he has four children, including actor Zayed Khan. In 1978, he married actress Zeenat Aman, but they separated the following year.
