Simi Garewal is an Indian film actress, producer and director. She spent much of her childhood in England and was fluent in the English language. Due to her non-Indian looks and fluency in the English language, she got the role of Princess Kamara in Tarzan Goes to India (1962), which was released in her debut year in Bollywood. The movie gave the recognition that helped her to get much better roles. Some of her best works include Do Badan (1966), Mera Naam Joker (1970), Chalte Chalte (1976), Kabhi Kabhie (1976) and Karz (1980). In 1970, she married a Delhi-based wealthy man Ravi Mohan who belonged to the Chunnamal family. However, the marriage was short-lived and ended in divorce.
