Aachari Baa is a social family drama that revolves around Jaishnaviben Anopchand Vagadia (Neena Gupta), a widow who makes a living by selling pickles and is known by the name of 'Aachari Baa' for the pickles that she sells. After a long time, she is called by her son and daughter-in-law to Mumbai. On reaching Mumbai, she realizes that she has been called to take care of their mischievous dog, Jenny, as her son and family go on a trip to Darjeeling. During her stay, she continues to make pickles and soon becomes famous for the same as she discovers her identity.
