Aanchhi is a comedy drama set in a small town when a nation-wide lock down was announced in wake of the pandemic where everyone was told to stay home and maintain social distancing. During the pandemic many shut down their businesses and lost their jobs and were left jobless. One of the many persons who also became jobless during the pandemic is Chaman (Ishtiyak Khan) who is a rat contractor and stays with his wife Sangeeta (Sunita Rajwar) and finds it hard to earn some money for his family to survive. One fine day Chaman receives a phone call asking him to take up a killing contract, thinking it to be a big rat contract he readily accepts it but only later realizes that he has connected with some wrong people. What does Chaman do, does he go ahead with the contract or it’s too late for him to step back?
