Aashiq is an action romantic drama. The movie follows the story of Chander (Bobby Deol) and Pooja (Karisma Kapoor). Chander helps his friend to elope and marry with his lover, who happen to be Pooja's friend. When Chander and Pooja meet, they instantly fall in love, and thus starts their love story. The two are madly in love with each other and wish to get married, but the only problem is Pooja's brother and her father, who are enraged with Chander's actions of helping his friend to elope. Will the two still be able to convince their families and unite?
