Aashiqui 2 is a romantical musical drama. The movie is the successor of the 1990 blockbuster Aashiqui. It revolves around Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapur), a singing sensation, and Aarohi Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor), a bar singer. Rahul meets Aarohi in the bar and is impressed by her talent and simplicity. The two fall in love and Rahul helps Aarohi to realize her dream of becoming a successful singer. However, their relationship is endangered because of Rahul’s shortcomings and weird alcoholic mannerisms.
