Exploitation of women in our male dominated society exists even after 70 years of independence. ACID is yet another story of true incidents based on an acid attack survivor. A young Muslim girl by the name of Ruhana who loses her father in an accident at a young age and tries to take up a job to become the breadwinner for her family but men always try to caste an evil eye on her. The girl faces an acid attack after refusing a proposal and then decides to fight for her rights and achieves her goal despite adversities. Thus, becoming a role model for other similar girls in the society.
