Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic-historical drama film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana that dates 7,000 years back. The tale is set in the kingdom of Ayodhya where Prince Rama (Prabhas) along with his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon) and younger brother Lakshmana (Sunny Singh) travel to the island of Lanka with the help of Bajrang's army with an aim to rescue his wife, who had been abducted by deceit by Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan), the demon king of Lanka. How lord Rama defeats Lankesh depicts the triumph of good over evil.
