Akelli is an action thriller set in the war hit troubled country of Iraq where Jyoti (Nushrratt Bharuccha) who hails from Chandigarh gets a job in Iraq. During her stay in Iraq all hell breaks lose when Syrians invade the region and hold the locals captive. Jyoti plans to go back to India but finds herself trapped in a combat zone who must battle for her life.
