Aladin is a fantasy action film that revolves around Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) who has been teased since childhood for having a fairytale name. On his birthday, one of his college mates gifts Aladin a lamp to embarrass him. However, it turns out to be a magical lamp, Aladin rubs the lamp and releases the genie, Genius (Amitabh Bachchan). Genius makes Aladin’s life interesting, everything seems perfect, until an ex-genie Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt) arrives. Ringmaster tricks Genius to lose all his powers and become mortal and is set to get all his powers back. Will he succeed in his evil plans or will Aladin come to aid Genius?
