Angry Indian Goddesses is an all-woman drama that follows the story of Frieda (Sarah-Jane Dias), a fashion photographer, who invites her group of friends to her home in Goa and surprises them with the news of her marriage. The group consists of Mad (Anushka Manchanda) – a Bollywood singer, Pammy (Pavleen Gujral) – wife of a rich man, Su (Sandhya Mridul) – a businesswoman, Jo (Amrit Maghera) – an aspiring actress, and Nargis (Tannishtha Chatterjee) – an activist. The bachelorette party begins, but the celebration ends at an unforeseen incident that leaves everyone distraught and frustrated.
