Ankahee is a romantic thriller drama. The movie follows the story of Shekhar Saxena (Aftab Shivdasani), who leads a happy life with his wife Nandita (Ameesha Patel) and daughter Sheena. However, things take a turn when he meets a beautiful actress Kavya Krishna (Esha Deol). Shekhar falls in love with Kavya, who forces him to leave his family and be with her. Shekhar abandons his family for Kavya, but guilt-ridden with abandoning his family, he cannot be happy with Kavya too.
