Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge? is a family comedy-drama that revolves around a young married couple, Puneet Bajpai (Ajay Devgn), a scriptwriter and Munmun (Konkona Sen Sharma), an interior designer, who live with their 6-year-old son in Mumbai. Their happy lives turn upside down when an unwelcome distant relative, Lambodar Chacha (Paresh Rawal), arrives at their doorsteps. Soon, he makes their lives miserable by interfering in their every personal and professional matter. To get rid of their uncle and send him back to his village, Puneet and Munmun try different ways but fail miserably. What does the couple do next?
