Awasaan is a social drama that yet again touches upon the issue of unemployment where youths despite having the quintessential qualifications remain jobless and end up resorting to illegal ways of earning their living. Set against the divine landscape of Prayagraj, the story revolves around the life of a young pass-out engineering graduate who is desperate to find a government job for himself to support his family. On knowing the hardships of getting a job, he resorts to unlawful means to get one but in the process finds himself trapped into a tragedy while testing his fate.
