Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat is a family comedy drama. The movie follows the story of Baankey (Rajpal Yadav), a 35-year-old man, who is desperate to get married. However, some issues in his horoscope barred him from marrying. A priest offers a solution to Baankey as he suggests him to have a proxy wedding in which a proxy groom will substitute Baankey and perform all the wedding rituals. On the day of the wedding, Baankey’s uncle convinces Virat (Satyajeet Dubey), a bus driver, to be a proxy groom and marry Baankey's would-be wife Anjali (Tia Bajpai). However, things take a chaotic turn when Anjali and Virat fall in love and plan to elope.
