Bandit Shakuntala is a crime action thriller set in one of north India’s rural villages where a 12-year-old girl by the name of Shakuntala grows up in poverty. At a young age she decides to improve her position and make a better life for herself through studying hard but unfortunately gets brutally raped by the Chief of her village. Unable to withstand the humiliation, she seeks for justice which is denied to her. Thereafter she is forced into an arranged marriage with a drunkard, but tragedy strikes again as she is gang raped again by a mob of villagers. To seek revenge, she turns into an outlaw and picks up the gun to form her own bandit gang. Her name instils dread and fear among the region, but this is just the start of her journey for justice and retribution.
