Barah By Barah is a social family drama set in the town of Varanasi where Sooraj (Gyanendra Tripathi) makes a living as a mobile photographer who doesn't earn enough and most often than not is shooed away by people. After realising that he is not earning enough for his family's survival is advised to click the last photographs' of the dead at Varanasi's Manikarnika ghat where most dead bodies are cremated. How this change takes Sooraj on a journey through the periphery of the circle of life and death forms the crux of the remaining plot.
