Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a story based on true events and set in the year of 2008. Gita Madhav Gandhare (Kangana Ranaut), a dedicated nurse at Mumbai's Cama and Albless Hospital, reports for her night shift on November 26, expecting an ordinary evening. The calm is shattered when gunshots echo through the premises. Initially dismissed as fireworks, the grim reality soon unfolds as Gita's husband, Kedar (Prasad Oak), alerts her about the terror attacks unfolding across Mumbai. Determined to protect those in their care, Gita, her fellow nurses, and the hospital's security team quickly devise a plan—switching off the lights and sealing the gates in the hope that the terrorists will mistake the hospital for an abandoned building. But their efforts are thwarted when terrorists Abu Ismail (Aditya Mishhra) and Ajmal Kasab (Zahid) spot an elderly security guard, Babbanrao Zambre (Vijay Gokhale), brutally kill him, and force their way inside. What follows is a gripping tale of courage, resilience, and humanity in the face of unimaginable terror.
