Blackout is a crime thriller set in the city of Pune where on a stormy night of darkness engulfs the city where a crime reporter by the name of Lenny (Vikrant Massey) is returning back home in his car. Due to the blackout and poor visibility Lenny gets involved in a car accident. He survives but on checking out the other car he discovers a substantial amount of gold and money among the dead. Opting to run with the loot, he encounters a few unfamiliar individuals during his escape, each bringing turmoil into his life leading to a game of cat-and-mouse with the police as the situation escalates.
