Blue is an action-adventure drama. The film is set somewhere in the Bahamas, where Aarav Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) runs a successful fishing business and is friends with Sagar Singh (Sanjay Dutt), who lives with his wife Mona (Lara Dutta). Sagar’s brother Sam Singh (Zayed Khan) owes $50 million to a gangster and might get killed if he fails to pay back. Sam tells everything to Aarav. Later Mona is kidnapped by the same gangster who demands $50 million as ransom. Sam convinces Sagar to retrieve the treasure from the famous ship Lady in Blue that might save their lives. The three go for underwater treasure hunting, however, much later it is revealed that everything was plotted and Aarav had plans of his own to fulfill.
