Blurr is a psychological suspense thriller and a remake of the Spanish film Julia's Eyes (2010) that revolves around twin sisters Gautami and Gayatri (both played by Taapsee Pannu). Gayatri is an anthropologist who lives in Delhi with her husband Neel (Gulshan Devaiah). On getting a bad dream about Gautami, Gayatri and Neel travel to Nainital in Uttarakhand where they find the former found hanging in the basement of her house. On realizing that Gautami’s death was a murder and not suicide Gayatri requests the local police to investigate the case. During the investigation of her sister’s murder Gayatri realizes that she too like her sister is also suffering from progressive blindness which is setting in slowly and steadily. Gayatri decides that she has to find all answers to her twin sister's unlikely death before going completely blind. As time passes and the lines of reality keep getting blurred, what does Gayatri do? Is she ready to look into the eyes of the truth or forget the past and move on?
