Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story is a rom-com that explores the dynamic between two opposites who come together in an unlikely romance. Kaushalya Prajapati aka Bobby (Kaveri Kapur), is traveling to Cardiff via plane from Glasgow. Due to a volcanic ash cloud, the airplane is diverted to Heathrow. She meets Rishi (Vardhan Puri) at the airport. Bobby falls in love with Rishi and follows her to the train station. Both Bobby and Rishi board a train bound for Cambridge. After Bobby accuses Rishi of being a creep, they begin conversing. They fall in love while they tour Cambridge. However, Bobby is commitment-phobic and recently went through a painful breakup. Consequently, they both part ways. The remainder of the movie is shaped by what transpires thereafter.
