Broken Horses is a mystery thriller crime drama. The movie is a remake of the 1989 film Parinda directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie revolves around two orphaned brothers – Buddy Heckum (Chris Marquette) and Jacob Heckum (Anton Yelchin). Jacob grows up to become a violinist in New York and is going to marry his Italian girlfriend. However, he decides to visit his hometown near the US- Mexico border and meet his brother. He then learns that his brother is manipulated into working for a notorious gangster named Julius Hench (Vincent D’Onofrio).
