Bumm Bumm Bole is a family drama. The movie is inspired by the 1997 Iranian film Children of Heaven. Pinaki ‘Pinu’ Gwala (Darsheel Safary) and Rimzim Gwala (Ziyah Vastani), are school going children who live with their parents, Khogiram (Atul Kulkarni) and Kalyani (Rituparna Sengupta). The family is too poor and doesn’t even have enough money to buy school uniforms and shoes. Things go wrong when Pinu misplaces Rimzim’s only pair of shoes. Pinu requests Rimzim to not tell this to their parents. They work out a scheme, where Rimzim wears Pinu’s shoes to school in the morning, then Pinu uses them to attend afternoon school.
