They say a lie is a darkness that swallows hope and injustice is a threat to justice, all this is the base of the story of Chicken Curry Law, which yet again touches upon the subject of rape victims who are bruised and battered but not defeated. Maya is a belly dancer who comes to India on a contract but falls prey to the power of money and politics. Maya’s case is taken up by a human rights activist who seeks justice for her but instead gets labeled as a prostitute who seduced the opposite party. The defense lawyer throws upon light on why it is easy to prove the culprit innocent while it’s impossible to prove an innocent’s innocence in the court of law. Will justice prevail and Maya’s rapists are punished?
