Citylights is a romantic drama that revolves around Deepak Singh (Rajkummar Rao), an ex-Army driver from Rajasthan. Deepak moves to Mumbai with his wife and daughter in hopes of a better lifestyle. He and his wife take up odd jobs to earn a living. In the midst of poverty and despair, the family is still hopeful of good times. However, they soon realize that life in a big city is not as easy as they imagined.
