D is a crime thriller drama. The movie revolves around Deshu (Randeep Hooda), a Delhi-based mechanic. Things take a turn when he unwittingly becomes the witness of the murder committed by the henchmen of the gang led by gangster Mangli (Raju Mavani). He is forced by the police to state his witness, and the gang threatens him. Caught between the police and the gang, Deshu is frustrated by his current state and decides to join the rival gang led by Hashim Bhai (Goga Kapoor) to seek revenge. His struggle in the new gang and journey to becoming the new underworld don forms the rest of the plot.
