Darbaan is a heartwarming story based on a short story by Rabindra Nath Tagore, which narrates the relationship between a master and his caretaker who took care of the former since his childhood. Time passes as the little master grows up to become a young man who is now married and has a little son. The master requests his caretaker, who has grown old, to take care of his son the similar way he took of him. The caretaker takes care of his master’s son but a turn of event leads to the child going missing. The caretaker is handed over to the police but where is the boy, is he dead or been killed or is there a conspiracy behind it?
