De Dana Dan is a romantic comedy-drama about two broke friends – Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) and Ram Mishra (Sunil Shetty). They get lucky in love by getting rich girlfriends, who only have one condition – get money or forget us. In desperation of making money, the two friends kidnap a rich businesswoman’s puppy and demand a ransom. Nitin works for this rich woman and the police mistook him to be kidnapped. Initially, she denies paying the ransom but after a lot of pressure from the public and police she agrees. Things go haywire and hilarious events follow up. Everything is chaotic, and Nitin and Ram almost decide to give up but this time luck decides to be on their side.
