Deewaar: Let’s Bring Our Heroes Home is an action thriller drama. The movie follows the story of an Indian army Major Ranvir Kaul (Amitabh Bachchan), who along with around 30 army men, was captured in Pakistan and held under brutal conditions for 33 years. When one of the men flees, Kaul sends a letter home informing his family that he is alive. Ranvir Kaul’s wife and son take help from the Indian army, but if the subject is raised, Pakistan would deny it and kill the men. Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna), Ranvir’s son, decides to take things into his hands and goes on the rescue mission to bring his father back safely. With the help of the Indian army, Gaurav sets out on the mission, but he surely would have to overcome several hurdles to succeed in this dangerous mission.
