Dil Tujhko Diya is a romantic drama. The movie follows the story of two half-brothers - Ashok (Suresh Oberoi) and Vijay (Kumar Gaurav). Due to their father’s, Ajay (Parikshit Sahni), untimely death, Vijay’s mother, Savitri (Mala Sinha), was framed and arrested for his murder. However, after being released, she finds her son Vijay being ill-treated by Ashok’s maternal uncle, while Ashok was sent abroad for further studies. Savitri rescues Vijay with the help of a criminal named Mohla (Amrish Puri). The two are positive that their situation will get better when Ashok will return. However, the fate has different plans, as Ashok too blames Savitri for his father’s death, which makes the two brothers go against each other. Will Ashok ever realize the truth and understand that it was just a deceitful plan of his relatives who wanted to destroy their family?
