Dilon Mein Uphaan is a social action drama set in a small town that centres around a retired courtesan named Sanno (Neeta Mohindra) and her dance troupe members who make a living by performing live dance shows at events and lead a simple yet harmonious life. Their bonding is what helps them sail through life’s hardships when the shocking rape of Simmi, Sanno’s adolescent daughter sends shock waves through the town. On knowing about the brutal crime, the police launch an investigation into the matter as a result of protests and public pressure. Will Sanno get justice for her daughter or the frustrated locals be compelled to take it upon themselves to serve justice?
