Doosra is a coming-of-age social drama story, the day when India won the Natwest Trophy in 2002 at Lords and Indian captain Sourav Ganguly’s way of expressing the arrival of Indian cricket. Tara, a small town girl belonging to an orthodox household inspired by team India’s win, decides to break the social prejudices as she comes to terms with her own mind and body.
