Doosri Dulhan is a family social drama. The movie follows the story of a young married couple, Renu (Sharmila Tagore) and Anil (Victor Banerjee), who are devastated after Renu’s miscarriage and the news that she’d never be able to bear a child again. After being sad for a while, Anil decides to go to a brothel, where he meets a woman named Chanda (Shabana Azmi), and after spending some time with her, he requests her to bear his child for the family, so he could finally complete his family. Will Chanda agree to Anil’s request?
