Dry Day is a social political drama set in a small town of Jagodhar where Gannu (Jitendra Kumar), an unemployed good for nothing young man stays in a joint family along with his wife and is addicted to alcohol. Gannu’s wife, Nirmala (Shriya Pilgaonkar) who is fed-up of his ways makes a vow to abort their baby due to his alcoholism. To save the child, Gannu, the biggest loafer of Jagodhar sets out on a protest to ban alcohol in his own town by seeking the help of Dauji (Anu Kapoor) who serves as the corporator.
