Ekta is a romantic horror-thriller about a young girl named Ekta (Navneet Kaur Dhillon), who takes a break from her hectic work schedule and comes to Alleppey, Kerala. At Alleppey, she meets and falls in love with a local guy named Rahul (Robin Sohi). All goes well for the couple until they realize that a series of murders take place around them under mysterious circumstances while the killer is at large. As the police investigate the murders, Ekta and Rahul are asked to leave the place until the case is solved. However, the plot thickens as the police get to know that Ekta is an integral part of the proceedings that will help find the real culprit.
