Game Over deals with the story of Swapna (Taapsee Pannu), a game designer by profession who keeps testing and playing new games even after office hours. All seems to be well until she experiences an incident, which scares her deeply where she finds herself giving into the hands of an evil force that has been committing crimes in the city she lives. Is this a psychological disorder that she experiences due to the games she designs or is there really a dark force awaiting to overpower her outside and within? Swapna decides to fight back with grit and courage before the evil triumphs and the game is over.
