Gandhi Godse: Ek Yudh revolves around the fictional world where India had just gained independence after partition after losing many innocent lives amid the riots. The reference point of the story is that when many freedom fighters felt that Mahatma Gandhi was the reason for the partition and deaths of hundreds of Indians which was uncalled for and is against the formation of a Hindu nation. One of the freedom fighters who was opposed Mahatma Gandhi was Nathuram Godse who went ahead and assassinated Mahatma. But the narration is about when Gandhi survives the attack and later meets Nathuram Godse in prison, the conversation leads to a fiery debate between the two.
