Golmaal Returns is a comedy-drama. It is the second installment in the ‘Golmaal series’. It revolves around Gopal (Ajay Devgn), who lives with his wife Ekta (Kareena Kapoor), his sister Esha (Amrita Arora), and Ekta’s mute brother Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor). One night, Gopal saves a young woman named Meera (Celina Jaitley) from dreadful goons, and because of heavy rains, the two decide to stay at Gopal’s friend’s yacht. When he returns home the next day, Ekta suspects Gopal of having an affair with someone. Gopal knows that it is difficult to convince Ekta of truth, so he cooks up a story. He takes the help of his junior at the office to hide the truth from his wife, which creates chaos that leads to a series of hilarious events.
