Good Luck Jerry is a black comedy crime thriller and the official remake of the Tamil movie Kolamaavu Kokila, which tells the story of an innocent girl by the name of Jaya 'Jerry' Kumari (Janhvi Kapoor) who lives in a small town in Punjab along with her mother who is always at loggerheads and younger sister who is still studying. Jaya one day discovers that her mother has cancer and to get her treatment underway wants lots of money as well as for her sister’s education. That is when Jaya takes a shot and gets pulled into the notorious world of cocaine smuggling through a local gang. Due to her innocent looks, she always manages to deceive the police and succeed in drug deals. To earn big money for her mother’s treatment and her sisters’ education she tries to pull off a big heist but will this time she be lucky?
