Adapted from a play by Mohd. Amin Bhat, Hamid is the story of an eight-year-old boy called Hamid (Talha Arshad Reshi) who stays in Kashmir along with his mother and wants to know where his missing father is. Despite asking his mother several times, Hamid doesn’t get a convincing answer and decides to call Allah to enquire about his father. His phone call is answered by a soldier of the Indian army who projects himself as Allah but does Hamid get all his queries answered forms the rest of this interesting tale.
