Hate Story 2 is a romantic thriller drama that revolves around Sonika (Surveen Chawla), the mistress of a powerful and influential political leader Mandar Mhatre (Sushant Singh). Sonika is a photography student who is often tortured by Mandar. She falls in love with her college friend Akshay Bedi (Jay Bhanushali). After Mandar learns about their relationship, he kills Akshay. Sonika is devastated by Akshay’s death and vows to take revenge on Mandar.
